ONE has booked a quarterfinal with unusually high stakes for its flyweight Muay Thai Grand Prix. Champion Asadula Imangazaliev meets Aslamjon Ortikov again at The Inner Circle 39 in Bangkok on November 20. The rematch is both a title defense and a tournament bout: the winner takes the belt into the semifinals.

A rematch after five close rounds

The pair fought for the vacant ONE title in June. Imangazaliev won a split decision after five rounds, handing Ortikov his first defeat. It was hardly an ending that settled their rivalry. The challenger now gets an immediate chance to reverse the result while keeping his Grand Prix run alive.

This will be Imangazaliev's first defense. Unlike a standard rematch, a loss would cost him both the championship and his place in the tournament. Ortikov could claim both in a single fight: the gold and a semifinal berth.

Another quarterfinal in Bangkok

Black Panther faces Ubaid Hussain on the same card. According to ONE, the Thai fighter has won six in a row, while 20-year-old Hussain remains unbeaten through 17 professional bouts. Their meeting determines the final semifinalist.

The first two quarterfinals take place on November 13: Rodtang meets Nong-O, and Shimon Yoshinari faces Ramadan Ondash. All four opening matchups are now set. We introduced the eight-man field in our earlier ONE Grand Prix overview. The new detail changes the tournament's balance: the reigning champion must defend his belt in the opening round.
