Ryan Garcia Banned by WBC, Announces Move to Coaching

Ryan Garcia is under heavy criticism following a series of disturbing incidents. I fear for Ryan's well-being as he has declined multiple attempts for our help with mental health and substance abuse." Even after issuing an apology and claiming his offensive messages were just jokes, Garcia continued to post erratic and controversial content, including a suggestion for his followers to "microdose shrooms." His professional future now appears uncertain. Banned from boxing by the WBC, Garcia recently announced, "I’ve now decided to be a head trainer. And since I’m banned to box, that means I can train fighters. HMU young and old fighters." Given the many erratic posts recently, it's unclear whether this statement reflects a serious intention.
