Dana White's vision, first teased last year (as reported by CS.C), is finally taking shape. The partnership between Turki Alalshikh and TKO Group Holdings signals a strategic shift that promises to be much more than just another entrant in the boxing promotion landscape.
The boxing world is about to welcome a significant new player. Turki Alalshikh and TKO Group Holdings—the corporate force behind UFC and WWE—have announced a partnership that could redefine professional boxing.
UFC President Dana White and WWE President Nick Khan will spearhead the operation. Their strategy focuses on systematic sport development. Central to their vision is a global talent pipeline designed to nurture emerging boxers and create international opportunities. The planned academies will serve as the foundation of this system.
Another cornerstone of the initiative lies in performance development: Boxers will gain access to the UFC Performance Institute, a center of excellence for scientific training, research, rehabilitation, and nutrition. TKO's production and media expertise will ensure professional broadcasts and events.
Dana White succinctly commented on the partnership via X.com: "BOOOOOOM!!!!! Boxing here we come"
Details regarding fighters, schedules, and venues are expected in the coming months.
